Spoke at first With Stephanie? asked to speak to her supervisor who I told her what the promotion stated in several places at checkout in red lettering over talking me constantly & then proceeded to disconnect me. So I called another number and subsequently spoke to Vincent who was very helpful & accommodating and I am now a new customer. Thank you

I gotta start by saying the positive: having emailed DSW regarding a defective product I purchased from them online, they got back to me extremely quick! Sometimes even just a few hours later!

Bravo to them on their fantastic promptness! But be warned - each response was from a different representative (at least 6 or 7 in my case), which meant each response was completely different. Their initial response was most helpful, but after that, every response to follow had a different answer, and in the end, their answers went from "Yes, we'd be happy to help you" to "We can't help you at all." It was beyond ridiculous. Almost comical, in fact.

I eventually gave up - too much unnecessary stress and a complete waste of my time. Should you need to contact DSW customer service, you might be better off doing so over the phone or in person.

User's recommendation: Be weary of DSW return policies - even when their products (defective or otherwise) damage within a fairly short time frame, DSW will be anything but accommodating. They may initially seem like they want to help you, but in the end, you may be disappointed. Any empathy or understanding on their part is all a facade. Shoes should last longer than four months, especially when they cost $60.00. Take your business elsewhere.

This place has gone downhill. Their exchange policy is ridiculous. I tried to return shoes after 1 day .They were to tight. Their return policy says they will exchange shoes if they are not damaged .This in not true. My return was denied because of some dirt marks on the sole s. A restock fee would be appreciated,as I offered to pay one ,but they declined. Shop at Big 5,they are much more customer friendly.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. I had initially disputed the charge with my credit card company, DSW told the credit card company that I had not returned the shoes, and I still had them in my possession, the credit card company had credited the charge, then reversed the credit, so I faxed (no email address was provided) all my documentation to the credit card company, and they issued another credit. I will not be doing business with DSW again.

I returned an unopened item, received an email stating they had received the return, and should expect the refund within 5 to 7 days, did not receive the refund, called customer service, they said they needed to process refund, never received, called again, was told the same thing. I then contacted credit card company to dispute, DSW told them I never returned the item. Will NEVER do business with DSW again.

Charged twice

Hello, My name is Addison Pace, I ordered the Mia Ivy boots and picked them up yesterday 12/1. I was charged on 12/1 (38.15) and then charged again today 12/2 another $38.15. I was wondering why I was charged twice. On my email it also still says that my order is available for pickup.

Customer Service thru email is ineffective & gives you the run around

Ordered shoes for my daughter's homecoming the third week of Sept. Shipping to the store was supposed to be before Oct 1.

They were running late and then they didn't arrive by the date of my event. I emailed customer service saying I didn't need them anymore and could we cancel the order. They said they submitted the request and I would be refunded in 3-5 days. It never happened.

Contacted them 2 more times. Same thing happened two more times. Called the store, they cancelled the order for me. That was 3 days ago.

The charge that was pending has now POSTED. I emailed again today, same runaround they told me 3 weeks ago. Oh and they round robin the emails. So when I reached out today, Carl was the first agent to respond.

I followed up with questions, now someone named Mai responded. Their customer service team and processes suck.

I won't shop there again based on this issue. I'd rather spend my money with a company that values it's customers & their experience.

Shipment was sent to wrong address

I received an email from FedEx and DSW, saying my package had been delivered, there wasn't anything left at my front door. Looking at the picture it was not my house, it was in the wrong state. I called FedEx and wast told the shipper is the only one that can contact them. I then contacted DSW, and was told that information was incorrect, that my item had not been delivered. I don't know what to believe now. No shoes or money at this point.

Wanted valid exchange

I've been a customer for a very long time your Atlantic center mall staff needs to be retrain. I never had a problem with exchanging merchandise that was purchase online, your associate Brenda was very rude and not accommodating when it comes to customer needs also there's always a line at this location manager never available to help customer.do not patronize downtown location

Order said the 2 pairs of shoes I bought were both shipped. I received one pair & not the other. I thought the other was on its way. When I called they said they were sent together which they were not and now there arent any others. Disappointed they gave me my discount coupon back & credited my purchase but I still do not have brown Algerias I wanted for summer. Just disappointed
